The town of Edmunds, WA presumed to ignore the state pre-emption against municipal intermeddling in state firearms laws. The town LOST:
Thank SAF for this win, in which it was found to have standing, overturning the lower court's holding it did not. The decision upholds the purpose and effect of the state's pre-emption statute, preventing municipalities from enacting their own gun laws.
It is refreshing to see courts reining in these posturing towns, and protecting citizens' rights.
